Dan D was a Slovenian rock band from Novo Mesto active between 1996 and 2025. Formed from the remnants of the Mercedes Band, the ensemble was founded by vocalist Tomislav Jovanovič and drummer Dušan Obradinovič. The group released its debut studio album, Igra, in 1997. Their recording history featured the studio albums Ko hodiš nad oblaki (1999) and Katere barve je tvoj dan? (2004). In 2007, the band achieved recognition for a joint rendition of the songs “Voda” and “Male roke” with the group Siddharta performed at the Viktor awards. The ensemble subsequently issued the studio recording Ure letenja za ekstravagantne ptice (2009) and the live CD and DVD Dan 202 (2011), recorded with the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra. The track “Pozitivne misli” (2014) reached number 2 on the SloTop50 chart. Their later recording history included the studio albums DNA D (2015), Milo za drago (2018), Knjiga pohval in pritožb (2019) and the digital recording Rabim človeka (2025). The ensemble disbanded in 2025.
