Haji's Kitchen, an American metal band from Lewisville, Texas, was formed in 1993 by guitarists Eddie Head and Brett Stine, bassist Derek Blakley, and drummer Clint Barlow. The band took its name from a remark about Indian food after a rehearsal. In 1995, they released their self-titled debut album through Shrapnel Records. Brett Stine left in 1998, and his brother Scott joined. In 2001, Haji's Kitchen released Sucker Punch through M Records, featuring songs "Lost" and "Day After Day", which appeared in the film Dragon Ball Z: The Movie - The Legendary Super Saiyan. In 2012, they independently released their third studio album Twenty Twelve, with vocals from Daniel Tompkins on six tracks.
