The Green Pajamas is an American psychedelic rock group from Seattle, Washington, formed in the spring of 1984. Jeff Kelly and Joe Ross recorded and released their first album Summer of Lust that year. The band gained regional attention with the single "Kim the Waitress" (1984). They released several albums including Book of Hours (1986) and Ghosts of Love (1990), before disbanding during the latter's sessions. Jeff Kelly pursued solo projects, while the band reunited in 1994 following covers of "Kim the Waitress" by Material Issue and Sister Psychic. Notable releases from their reunion included Seven Fathoms Down and Falling (1999) and Northern Gothic (2002). The Green Pajamas released subsequent albums such as Poison in the Russian Room (2009), Death by Misadventure (2012), and Forever for a Little While (2022).
