The Panturas, an Indonesian surf rock band, was formed in 2016 by Surya "Kuya" Fikri and Rizal "Ijal" Taufikurrohman. The group initially included Cecep, who later left, with Abyan "Acin" Nabilio and Bagus Patria joining subsequently. All members met during their studies at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University. The band released their debut single "Fisherman's Slut" in July 2016 and followed it with their first studio album Mabuk Laut in February 2018. Notable collaborations include "Gelora" with .Feast for Gojek's promotional anthem during the 2019 SEA Games and a tribute to Mocca with a cover of "You and Me Against the World." The band received nominations for Best Alternative Duo or Group or Collaboration at the Anugerah Musik Indonesia in 2021 for "Tafsir Mistik" and in 2022 for "All I Want".
