Regurgitate, a Swedish grindcore band from Stockholm/Mjölby, was formed in 1990. Initially influenced by Carcass and horror films of the 1970s, particularly those directed by Lucio Fulci, Regurgitate released a split EP with Vaginal Massaker in 1992. Their debut album, Effortless Regurgitation Of Bright Red Blood, was released in 1994. After a period of inactivity, the band re-emerged with the re-release of their debut album in 1999 and signed with Relapse Records. Notable releases include Carnivorous Erection (2000), Hatefilled Vengeance"(2002), Deviant (2003), and Sickening Bliss (2006).
