Press Play On Tape, a Danish rock band formed in 1999, blends Commodore 64 tunes with rock music. The group includes Theo Engell-Nielsen on keyboards, Jesper Holm Olsen on guitar, Martin Koch, Uffe Friis Lichtenberg, Søren Trautner Madsen, and André Glasius Tischer, all alumni of the computer science program at the University of Copenhagen. Their name comes from the LOAD command message on the Commodore 64. The band released their debut CD Loading Ready Run in 2001, followed by Run/Stop Restore in 2003. By 2007, they performed at K.B. Hallen opening for Mew and had performances featured on Myspace and YouTube. In 2008, Press Play On Tape played at the Roskilde Festival and released Home Computer in 2012.
