Fire Island, an English house music duo, was formed by producers and remixers Pete Heller and Terry Farley. The duo began their career in 1992, releasing their first notable singles "In Your Bones / Fire Island" featuring Ricardo da Force, which charted at number 66 in the UK. Their breakthrough came with the release of the EP White Powder Dreams in June 2008. Fire Island achieved significant chart success with "Shout to the Top", a cover of the Style Council's song featuring lead vocals by Loleatta Holloway. This track reached Number 1 on the US Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1998 and peaked at number 23 on the UK Singles Chart. The duo also collaborated with Michael Jackson, contributing to the album Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix with the song "Money" and providing a remix for the title track. Throughout their career, Fire Island released several notable singles, including "There But For The Grace of God", which charted at number 32 in the UK in 1994.
