The Homosexuals, an English punk/post-punk band, were formed in 1976 at Goldsmiths College in South London. The original lineup included John Hazzard and Glenn Hutchinson, who later recruited Bruno Wizard as the frontman. Known initially as The Rejects, they played their first gig at The Roxy in January 1977. After a series of line-up changes and name adjustments to The Homosexuals in 1978, the band began recording with producer Chris Gray. Their debut single "Hearts in Exile" was released in 1978 and sold out quickly despite limited promotion. The band's experimental approach and DIY ethos influenced post-punk development. Notable releases include The Homosexuals EP (1979) and The Homosexuals' Record (1984). After disbanding in 1985, the group reformed in 2003 with new members.
