Booty Luv, eine britische Electronic-Dance-Music-Band, die im Juni 2006 in London gegründet wurde, bestand ursprünglich aus den beiden R&B-Sängerinnen Cherise Roberts und Nadia Shepherd, die die gemeinsame Vision von energiegeladenen Club-Tracks für die Underground-Szene der Stadt teilten. Der Durchbruch gelang der Gruppe mit der 2006 veröffentlichten Single „Boogie 2Nite“, die den Weg für ihre nächste Single „Shine“ ebnete, die am 25. Juni 2007 erschien. Der Erfolg setzte sich mit dem Album „Boogie 2Nite“ fort, das am 5. August 2008 erschien, gefolgt von den Singles „Say It“ (2009), „Dance Dance“ (2009) und „Some Kinda Rush“ (2009). Im Januar 2013 erweiterte die Band ihr Repertoire um die Single „Black Widow“, die noch im selben Monat erschien. Während ihrer gesamten aktiven Zeit tourte Booty Luv ausgiebig durch das Vereinigte Königreich und arbeitete mit großen EDM-Labels zusammen, die dazu beitrugen, ihren Sound in der Clubszene zu verbreiten. Die regelmäßigen Veröffentlichungen der Band und ihre Präsenz in der elektronischen Tanzszene unterstrichen ihre Rolle als fester Bestandteil der britischen Tanzmusik. Ihr Vermächtnis prägt bis heute zeitgenössische EDM-Künstler, die Booty Luv als einen der grundlegenden Einflüsse des Genres nennen.
