NEW single "Kind of Relief"
OUT NOW!
Nightcars jumps onto the music scene with their
first “Extended Play”, a project worked on remotely
by the 3 members of the band, Nick Marchena
(guitar and vocals), Cial Rodriguez (guitar), Adrian Rego (bass) and Mebs Rosales
(keyboards and synthesizers), produced and mixed by
Nick Marchena in his home studio in Madrid.
Comes “Enter the City” (the EP trilogy)
EP1 contains the band's first two singles: "Neon Girl" and "I Was In A
Dark Frame of Mind". The two singles were included in important lists
and playlists, catapulting the name of the band to an Anglo-Saxon
audience.
The band extends its repertoire by making "Extended Play, Vol 2" and
also extends its members by welcoming a new player to the band, Adrián
Rego (electric bass) thus starting a new chapter in the journey that began
with the first EP, with all the members in the same city, working together.
"The Call" and "Disappear" are extracted from the production, two
singles that were very well received by critics and that began to shape the
band's sound by experimenting with new styles, vocal ranges and
arrangements.
Following the release of the second EP, the band begins a campaign of
singles, which are collected under the title "Double Tap if You Like it".
This EP of singles makes the band among the 3 finalists for the Vodafone
YU contest in Madrid.
From this compilation, the band brings singles like "Chloe" and "Double
Tap if You Like it", songs that play with a different and fresh sound since
the band begins to work the mixes in a professional studio at the hands of
engineer Lucas Piedra Cueva, thus consolidating the production team
currently working on the production that closes the trilogy of EPs called
"Extended Play Vol, 3"
