Infernäl Mäjesty, a Canadian thrash metal band, was founded in 1986 under the name Overlord. The group initially consisted of Chris Bailey on vocals, Kenny Hallman and Steve Terror on guitars, Psychopath on bass, and Rick Nemes on drums. After releasing their first demo and receiving positive feedback in fanzines, they signed with Roadrunner Records and released their debut album, None Shall Defy, in 1987. The band faced internal conflicts and label issues, leading to lineup changes. In 1998, they released their second album, Unholier than Thou. The band continued with subsequent releases, including One Who Points to Death in 2004 and the EP Demon God in 2007, featuring guest musicians George Fisher and Rob Barrett of Cannibal Corpse.
