Anyone is a Southern California rock band led by Riz Story (Rodolpho Ivan Zahler), formed in 1995 after evolving from earlier groups led by Story. The band originally included drummer Taylor Hawkins, who later joined Foo Fighters, and guitarist Jon Davison, who later became a member of Yes. They released their self-titled debut album on Roadrunner Records in 2001. Their early music combined alternative rock and nu metal with progressive and psychedelic elements, described by the press as “Maximum Acid.” The band released the album Echoes and Traces in 2014 and continued releasing albums through the 2020s, including In Humanity (2021), Miracles in the Nothingness (2023), and Echoes of Man (2025).
