Symbols was a Brazilian metal band from São Paulo established in 1997. The group was founded by guitarist Rodrigo Arjonas and bassist and vocalist Tito Falaschi and is noted for its role in the Brazilian heavy metal and power metal scene. The ensemble included vocalist Edu Falaschi, who shared lead vocal duties with his brother Tito on their first two recordings. Their recording career began with the debut eponymous studio recording Symbols (1997) followed by the studio recording Call to the End (2001). Edu Falaschi departed the group in 2001 to join the ensemble Angra. Symbols subsequently reconfigured its lineup to include vocalist and guitarist Demian Tiguez, drummer Rod Mello, bassist César Barreiros, and keyboardist Fabrizio Di Sarno. The ensemble released the studio recording Faces (2004) through the label Hellion Records. The work incorporated elements of progressive metal and featured a guest appearance by Edu Falaschi on the track "Bright Times". Symbols became inactive in 2005 but resumed activity for a reunion concert in 2012. Their discography included the 2021 physical reissues of their first two studio recordings.
