Betchadupa was a New Zealand pop rock band formed in Auckland in 1997. The original lineup consisted of Liam Finn on vocals and guitar, Chris Garland on guitar, Joe Bramley on bass and backing vocals, and Matt Eccles on drums. Their first EP Betchadupa (2000) was followed by The 3D EP (2001). They gained significant traction with the release of their debut album The Alphabetchadupa (2002). They followed this with notable singles such as "Supa Day" (2002) and "Move Over" (2003), and the album Aiming for Your Head (2004). They performed alongside prominent acts like Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, and Jane's Addiction, and were named Top New Act at the New Zealand Music Awards in 2001. They disbanded in 2006 after Finn pursued a solo career.
