T-Bone, born August 11, 1973 in San Francisco, California, is a Christian rapper. He began rapping at seven, released Redeemed Hoodlum (1993), Tha Life of a Hoodlum (1995), and Tha Hoodlum’s Testimony (1996) on Metro One; a 1997 compilation History of a Hoodlum followed. In 2001 he signed with Flicker Records and issued The Last Street Preacha, earning a 2001 Grammy nomination for Best Rock Gospel Album. Subsequent releases included Gospelalphamegafunkyboogiediscomusic (2002) and Bone-A-Fide (2005), the latter featuring Mack 10, Chino XL, and KRS-One. A 2008 Dove Award winner for "Name-Droppin’", T-Bone also appeared in films such as The Fighting Temptations (2003) and All You’ve Got (2006). Albums Pa mi Dios y Pa mi Gente (2017) and Broken English (2018) expanded his catalog.
