Desakato

Desakato was an Asturian punk rock group from Llanera, Asturias, Spain, founded in 2003 by brothers Pablo and Pepo at the Escuela Municipal de Música de Llanera. The group released its first demo, Agujero social, in 2004, followed by a second demo, Gritando en silencio, in 2005. Their debut studio album, Con el viento de cara, was released in 2008. Their subsequent releases include the albums Miseria, sangre y plomo (2010), Inercia (2012), Buen viaje (2014), and La teoría del fuego (2016), the EP Antártida (2018), and the album La miel de las flores muertas (2020). Generally singing in Spanish, they included at least one song in the Asturian language on each of their records. In November 2022, the group announced its retirement, and its farewell tour, El año que vivimos intensamente, concluded on November 11, 2023 with a performance that filled the WiZink Center in Madrid, Spain, marking the end of a 20-year career.
