King Wadada

Austin Peter, known professionally as King Wadada, is a Nigerian reggae musician, singer, and songwriter born on August 6, 1975, in Urhonigbe, within the Orhionmwon local government area of Edo State. He began his career performing as a vocalist, guitarist, and conga player. Wadada signed with the record label Miracle Day Music. In 2010, he received the Kora Award for Africa's best reggae artist of the year. He is the performer of the song “Holy Holy”. Wadada participated in professional initiatives to rebrand the reggae genre in Nigeria and has publicly advocated for the avoidance of vulgarity in musical compositions.
