Marie-Christine Maillard

Marie-Christine Maillard, also known as Marie-Christine and Marie, was a Belgian singer born in 1963 in Mortsel. Raised by an adoptive family, she began performing with local orchestras in her teens after receiving classical music training. She started her music career with "Rock épique et mélodrame" under the pseudonym Caroline Larchay in 1986. Maillard worked as a presenter on Belgian television station RTL-TVI while releasing several singles throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including Gourmandises (1993). Following her departure from RTL-TVI in 2002, Maillard fully dedicated herself to music. She then released albums including Marie chante Trenet (2003), Marie 100% French (Made in Marie) (2016), and C'est bon bon bon (Blues Chocolat) (2011).
