Brendan Edward Kelly, born September 8, 1976, is an American punk musician from Missouri, best known as bassist and vocalist for the Lawrence Arms and guitarist and lead vocalist for the Falcon. He has also performed with Slapstick, the Broadways, and Brendan Kelly and the Wandering Birds. Kelly studied radio, television, and film at Northwestern University, graduating in 2000, and has worked as an advertising copywriter. His releases include the split album Wasted Potential (2010) and I'd Rather Die Than Live Forever (2012) with the Wandering Birds. In 2015, he created the satirical Nihilist Arby's Twitter account, which gained widespread attention for its dark, absurdist commentary on corporate life and popular culture.
