Giovanni Imparato, known professionally as Colombre, is an Italian indie pop and indie rock singer-songwriter who was born on August 15, 1982, in Senigallia, Italy. A literature professor before his solo music career, Imparato fronted the Italian group Chewingum and adopted the pseudonym Colombre, referencing a Dino Buzzati story. His debut studio album, Pulviscolo, was released in 2017. Imparato followed with the studio album Corallo (2020), which was released under the labels Puro and Universal Music Italia, and Realismo magico in Adriatico (2023). In 2025, Imparato collaborated with Maria Antonietta on the studio album Luna di miele. The duo competed in the Sanremo Music Festival 2026 with the song “La felicità e basta”, which reached number 58 on the Italian charts. Imparato received the Emerging Artist Award at Musica da Bere in May 2018 and the Super MEI Circus Award for Best Young Independent Artist of the Year in September 2018.
