Yivani, born Nkusi Ivan David, is a rising artist based in Rwanda making music mostly in R&B, Pop and African whatever.
After making critically acclaimed singles including ‘Hold Me Down’ and ‘Collide’, he went on to release his latest banger featuring a guest verse from Skid, ‘Heaven Sent’.
‘Heaven Sent’ was released as the first single from a project he has been working on since August 2019 until now, which contains songs that are expected to raise him to prominence, including the likes of ‘For Life’ and the fascinating ‘You’.
Yivani started following his passion of being an artist in high school at the age of 17 after realizing people were actually feeling his music in talent show performances.
He started recording and releasing songs and slowly catching an audience. He went on to open for night club performances at places like ‘Club 250’ and ‘Fuschia’.
Oh, he was also invited for an interview on television, in the Morning Café on KC2.
As mentioned above, Yivani is polishing his slow brewed music project that he has started rolling out, but saving the best for the last. His next release is in less than a month and please note that he has been working on this music for more than 6 months, which proves sense of perfection and effort poured into his craft.
