Ozma is an American rock band from Pasadena, California, formed in 1995 by vocalist and guitarist Ryen Slegr, guitarist Jose Galvez, drummer Patrick Edwards, and bassist Daniel Brummel. The band's early releases included the demo Cuatro (1996), the demo Ocho (1998), and the compilation Songs of Inaudible Trucks and Cars (1999). In 2001, the group opened for Weezer on the Yahoo! Outloud Tour, which led to a record deal with Kung Fu Records. Ozma subsequently released the albums Rock and Roll Part Three (2000), The Doubble Donkey Disc (2001), and Spending Time on the Borderline (2003). Following a split on July 23, 2004, the band members reunited in 2006, releasing Pasadena (2007) through About a Girl Records and Boomtown (2014) through a crowdfunding campaign. The band also toured the United States and performed on multiple Weezer Cruises.
