Irrlicht is a Swiss band formed in 1996. The group's sound evolved from the Neue Deutsche Todeskunst genre to electro-pop and German-language pop. In 2005, Irrlicht released End.Klang, marking the departure of founding member Markus Meier. Daniela Dietz took over as the sole vocalist, significantly altering the band’s stylistic direction. Notable releases include Bilderbuch (2007), which was named CD des Monats Dezember by DepecheMode.ch and reached fourth place in their annual charts. The band celebrated their tenth anniversary with a concert at Dynamo-Club Zürich on January 9, 2009. Subsequent albums include Pygmalion (2010), Près du miroir (2014), which featured the single "Dans ce miroir" that charted in the DAC, the EP Bleiben Werden (2017), and Patience (2020).
