Seriously Serious is a crazy Power Sixties Rock'n'Roll band from Switzerland created in 2017 by Mr. Killjoy. Originally formed with Mr.Killjoy (vocal & guitar) The Oak (bass), The Stone (lead guitar) and The Tool (drums), the band announced their first appearance on February 2, 2017 with the video Back in 69. Their first album, Love & Other Candies, soon followed. The band quickly gained momentum, releasing their second album, Deal With It!, exactly one year later.
In 2018, they played in London’s Camden Town and toured extensively across Switzerland and France, delivering their explosive Power Sixties Rock'n'Roll to a growing audience. On September 21, 2019, they unveiled their third album, The Rise of Megalocity, a 12-track Rock Opera exploring the dangers of a madman in power. Line-up changes followed: The Garden (drums) and The Drix (guitar) joined in 2020, and The Fern (organ) joined for their fourth album, Coffee Time, released October 1, 2021. In 2022, the band recorded their fifth album, Guess What?!, released on January 20, 2023, featuring 10 festive new tracks.
After more changes in 2024, the band unveiled its new trio format with The Brogs on guitar and announced their sixth album, Thanks For Nothing, set for release on February 7, 2025. With their quirky, absurd universe and retro-inspired sound, Seriously Serious continues to bring positivity and fun to every stage they hit.
