Blink, an American jazz fusion group from Chicago, Illinois, was formed in 2006 and consisted of bassist Jeff Greene, drummer Quin Kirchner, guitarist Dave Miller, and alto saxophonist Greg Ward. Their debut studio album, The Epidemic of Ideas, was released in 2008 and quickly gained attention on jazz radio, ranking among the Most Played Albums on stations such as KSPC, CFRU‑FM, and CJSW during late 2008. Critics praised the record’s blend of free jazz, electronics, and post‑rock textures, with DownBeat awarding it four stars in January 2009. Blink followed the release with extensive touring across North America, Asia, Europe, Africa, and South America, performing commissioned works for the International Contemporary Ensemble. The band released The Delicate Beast in 2016.
