Un‑Cut was a British group formed in Manchester, England, comprising Darren Lewis and Iyiola Babalola of the music production duo Future Cut, and vocalist Jenna Gibbons. The trio first collaborated in 2001 when Future Cut released the single "Obsession" on Metalheadz, which reached Number 1 on the UK Dance Chart. Their breakthrough came with the release of the single "Midnight" on their own Wired label in March 2003, peaking at number 26 on the UK Singles Chart. Under WEA, Un‑Cut issued the album The Un‑Calculated Some in 2003, followed by the single "Fallin'", which entered the UK chart at number 63 in June 2003 before the group was dropped by the label. The band was noted for their funkier and soulful style of drum n' bass. After 2004, Lewis and Babilola continued producing and worked with artists like Shakira, Rihanna, and Paloma Faith. Jenna G released her solo album, For Lost Friends, in 2006.
