Ivan Paduart, born on October 20, 1966 in Brussels, Belgium, is a jazz musician known for his work as a pianist and composer. He began studying piano at age ten and started his musical journey with the amateur group Contrefaut at sixteen. After completing secondary education at Athénée royal Isabelle Gatti de Gamond, Paduart joined the group Aftertouch and later focused exclusively on jazz following a stage with Michel Herr in 1985. Influenced by musicians like Bill Evans and Herbie Hancock, Paduart released his debut album Aftertouch in 1990. He went on to release numerous albums, including Illusions Sensorielles (1993), True Stories (2000), and Blue Landscapes (2004). Notable songs include "Blue landscapes", "Crush", "Igor", and "Enivrance". Paduart has also collaborated with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra.
