Musica ad Rhenum is a Dutch musical group founded in 1992 in Amsterdam and dedicated to historically informed performances on period instruments. Established by flautist Jed Wentz, who studied at Youngstown and Oberlin in Ohio, they have performed at festivals such as the Utrecht Early Music Festival and the Berlin Bachtage. Their repertoire focuses on 18th-century chamber music. Recordings include Bach In Berlin (1995) and Complete Flute Sonatas (2006) by Michel Blavet. Musica ad Rhenum received the Fondazione Cini prize for Italian music recordings and a Diapason d'or for an recording of flute sonatas by Bach. The ensemble operates in various configurations from trio to sextet.
