Änglagård, a Swedish progressive rock band, was established in 1991 by Tord Lindman and Johan Högberg. The band's debut album Hybris was released in 1992, followed by the instrumental Epilog in 1994. Both albums were voted "album of the year" in progressive rock fan polls. Änglagård disbanded in 1994 but briefly reformed in 2002–2003 and again in 2009, with a new lineup that included Erik Hammarström and Linus Kåse. Their third studio album Viljans Öga was released in 2012, and Tord Lindman later returned to the band. The group continued to tour extensively, performing at notable festivals such as Night of the Prog in Germany and Prog-Résiste Convention in Belgium. In 2017, they released Live: Made in Norway, a live album recorded during their 2015 tour.
