Maya Homburger (born December 17, 1953 in Zurich, Switzerland) is a Swiss Baroque violinist and music producer. After completing her soloist diploma at the Bern Conservatory under Eva Zurbrügg, she studied with Ivan Galamian in the United States and Eduard Melkus in Vienna. She joined Camerata Bern and focused on the duo repertoire for Baroque violin and harpsichord, touring with Andreas Erismann. In 1986, she moved to England, performing with ensembles such as the Academy of Ancient Music, the English Concert, and the English Baroque Soloists. She launched her own record label, Maya Recordings, releasing her recording of Telemann's XII Fantasie per il violino senza basso (1993). In 1995, she recorded J.S. Bach's six sonatas for violin and harpsichord with Malcolm Proud. She also collaborated extensively with her husband, bassist Barry Guy, releasing the albums Ceremony (1999) and Celebration (2003). In 2000, she served as concertmaster and soloist for John Eliot Gardiner's Bach Cantata Pilgrimage. She subsequently released a recording of Bach's third sonata and partita alongside Guy's Lysandra (2010), and managed both her label and her husband's ensembles, including the London Jazz Composers Orchestra.
