Nikki Williams, born November 9, 1988, in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, is a South African singer-songwriter. She relocated to the United States at the age of 16, living in Los Angeles and Nashville. As a songwriter, her credits include Lauren Alaina's “Like My Mother Does”, Demi Lovato's “Heart Attack”, and Laura Pausini's “Le Due Finestre”. As a solo artist, Williams released her debut single “Kill, Fuck, Marry” in 2012, which was produced by Stargate and co-written by Sia. Her second single, “Glowing” (2012), debuted at number 48 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart and peaked at number 3, while also reaching number 21 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart. Her subsequent singles include “Thank God It's Friday” (2013) and “Trouble” (2018), the latter a collaboration with DJ Parov Stelar. She signed to Big Yellow Dog Publishing and Atlantic Records.
