Black Spiders is an English hard rock and stoner rock band formed in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, in 2008. Originally performing under the name The Black Spiders, the group debuted with the three-track single “St. Peter” in December 2008, coinciding with a European tour supporting Airbourne. In June 2009, they released the EP Cinco Hombres, Diez Cojones on their own label, Dark Riders, followed by the EP No Goats in the Omen (2010). The band's debut studio album, Sons of the North, appeared on February 7, 2011, and reached number 172 on the UK Albums Chart. Subsequent studio albums include This Savage Land (2013), which peaked at number 59 in the UK, the self-titled Black Spiders (2021), which reached number 7 on the UK Independent Albums Chart, Can't Die, Won't Die (2023), and Cvrses (2025). After disbanding following a farewell tour that concluded on June 16, 2017, the group reformed in September 2020 with new drummer Wyatt Wendels.
