Tiago Peres has been involved with singing and the ministry of the Word from an early age. The son of pastors, he always accompanied his parents at the International Church of God’s Grace. At the age of six, he began studying at the Villa-Lobos School of Music, one of the most renowned in Rio de Janeiro. With musical talent in his veins and in his heart, a burning desire to preach the Gospel soon arose. At 11, he joined the IIGD Worship Ministry, and at 14, following his father’s example, he accepted the pastoral calling. He lived in the United States with his family for three years while they carried out God’s work there, and in 2010, after returning to Brazil, he took on the role of pastor and assumed leadership of the Worship Ministry at the IIGD headquarters in Madureira.
From there, Tiago received another great mission: accompanying Missionary R. R. Soares in evangelistic campaigns. However, this blessing was preceded by an unpleasant surprise. “I discovered two nodules in my throat. I spoke with the Missionary, we made a commitment with God, and I was healed through faith. According to the doctors, I would have needed almost two years of speech therapy, but the problem disappeared in less than a month,” Tiago testifies.
Since then, Tiago has traveled all over the world ministering the Word through music. Today, in addition to being a Levite, he is the Executive Manager of Graça Music.
