Heroine Sheiks was an American noise rock band based in New York, formed in 1999 by Shannon Selberg, George Porfiris, Norman Westberg, and John Fell. Their self-titled debut single, featuring the track "We Are The", was released on Amphetamine Reptile Records in 1999. Heroine Sheiks gained significant attention with their first full-length album, Rape On The Installment Plan, released by Reptilian Records in 2000. The band's lineup evolved over the years, with notable members including Eric Eble, Martin Ros, Rob Kimball, and Bruce Wuollet. They released several albums, including Siamese Pipe (2002), Out of Aferica (2005), and Journey to the End of the Knife (2008). The band toured extensively throughout their career, building a dedicated fan base across the United States. The New York chapter of the band officially disbanded in 2006; however, Selberg later gathered a new lineup of musicians to release a limited edition CD and tour nationally in 2008.
