SRC a Detroit-based psychedelic rock band, was formed in 1967. The group consisted of Scott Richardson on vocals, Steve Lyman and Gary Quackenbush on guitars, Glenn Quackenbush on organ, Robin Dale on bass, and E.G. Clawson on drums. Their first single "Who's That Girl"/"I'm So Glad" was released in 1967. The band gained local popularity in Detroit venues and released their self-titled debut album in 1968, followed by Milestones in 1969. They opened for major acts such as Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones. After a motorcycle accident involving Gary Quackenbush, the band released their final album Traveler's Tale in 1970. SRC disbanded shortly after, with members pursuing various careers. In 2010, SRC was inducted into the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame.
