The Dream Disciples were a Scottish band formed in 1990 by Col Lowing, Julian 'Sid' Bratley, and Stephen McKean. The band's initial lineup included Scott Prentice on drums, with Gordon Young and Karl North joining later. Their debut release was the mini-album Veil of Tears. The Dream Disciples were known for their unique blend of goth, industrial, rock, and electronic music. They released several albums, including In Amber (1995), which received a glowing review in The Catholic Times, and Asphyxia (2001), rated eight out of ten in Rock Sound magazine. The band was also recognized for their extensive touring, playing at notable events such as the Eurorock festival in Belgium and performing at the Whitby Gothic Weekend multiple times. Their final performance took place in April 2004, supporting The Mission. The Dream Disciples disbanded later that year.
