Music is deep in her blood. LIZ LOKRE (pronounced lock-ree) grew up singing
in church and was always surrounded by music. Her father booked rock bands
in his native Dublin while her Trinidadian mother travelled the world as an
Indian dancer. It was her grandmother who had in fact pioneered a popular
pre-Bollywood style of Indian dance.
Although she continues to travel regularly to LA and beyond, it’s in
Toronto, that she continues to hone her craft. For the past few years, LIZ
has been collaborating with producer and guitarist Adrian X (Drake, The
Weeknd, PARTYNEXTDOOR) Together they have created a sound that speaks to
LIZ’s message and reason for singing; to unify and uplift. Look out for
LIZ's debut album set to be released in 2019.
