Creaming Jesus was an English gothic rock, punk, and heavy metal band from London, formed in 1987. Their original sound featured percussive noise, thrash metal guitarists, and screamed vocals. Their first release was a track on the House of Dolls fanzine covermounted 7-inch single, followed by the self-released Nailed Up for Nothing EP (1989). Signed to Jungle Records, they re-released the EP and recorded two further EPs, Mug (1989) and Bark (1990). In 1990, they toured with Fields of the Nephilim to support the debut album Too Fat to Run, Too Stupid to Hide (1990). They released a second album, Guilt by Association (1992), which remained in the indie charts for months. Their final performance in 1994 was recorded and released as the live album End of an Error (1994). Other releases include the studio album Chaos for the Converted (1994).
