The Expos is a Canadian reggae band from Newmarket, Ontario, with music combining reggae with psychedelia and heavy drums. Formed in 2003 under the name The Donuts, the group's lineup includes vocalist and drummer Reed Neagle, organist and vocalist Michel Verrier, bassist and backing vocalist Christopher Shannon, and guitarist and backing vocalist Adam Pariselli. Their debut album, Old Friends, was released in 2005 and re-released in 2006 under their new name after they signed with Stomp Records. The recording featured a horn section and Hammond organ. In 2009, they released Blackwater, featuring more harmony and vocals recorded with an old-fashioned E-V Model 635A microphone. The band followed with the album Lake House (2012). They performed at the 2013 Montreal Ska Fest and contributed to several compilation albums, including Mad Butcher Records Skannibal Part 6 (2006), One Big Family Vol. 3 (2007), and Salad Gold 15 Sampler (2008).
