Casa das Máquinas, a Brazilian rock band, formed in 1973 in São Paulo. Their breakthrough came with the 1974 debut album Casa das Máquinas, which showcased a hard‑rock sound that set the tone for their career. In 1975 they released Lar de Maravilhas, adopting a progressive style, before returning to rock with Casa de Rock in 1976. A compilation of early tracks, Pérolas, appeared in 2000. After a long hiatus that began in 1978, the band regrouped in 2007, performing for sporadic performances and releasing Brilho nos olhos in 2022.
