Ghost Trucker, a Dutch rock band formed in 2004, consisted of Roald van Oosten (Caesar), Asta Kat, Ralph Mulder, Rik Elstgeest and Jelte van Andel. The group originated from Van Oosten's previous soundtrack projects. From 2004 to 2006, the band recorded their debut album The Grand Mystique at Van Oosten’s Animal Kingdom studio in Amsterdam. Released on October 2, 2006, via Excelsior Recordings, the album featured a diverse range of musicians and received critical acclaim for its eclectic mix of alternative rock and electronic elements. In December 2006, Ghost Trucker embarked on the Fine Fine Music tour alongside other labelmates, performing at various venues across the Netherlands.
