Hello, Blue Roses is a Canadian musical collaboration involving Sydney Hermant and her husband Dan Bejar. The duo formed in 2008 in Vancouver, with Hermant serving as a visual artist and Bejar contributing his talents from Destroyer and The New Pornographers. Their name is derived from a line in Tennessee Williams' play The Glass Menagerie. Hello, Blue Roses released their debut album, The Portrait Is Finished and I Have Failed to Capture Your Beauty..., in 2008 through Locust Music. The album featured notable tracks such as "Hello Blue Roses" and "St. Angela". Their second album, WZO, was released in 2015 through JAZ Records, with most songs written by Hermant. This album included the track "Amulet" and was distributed both digitally and as a limited-edition vinyl LP.
