Lansing-Dreiden is an American band and multidisciplinary art collective founded in Miami, Florida, and based in New York City. Combining music with visual art, sculpture, video, and the literary journal Death Notice, the group describes itself as "a company" rather than a conventional band. They self-released the album The Incomplete Triangle and the EP A Sectioned Beam, which were both later reissued by Kemado Records in 2004. Their third release, The Dividing Island (2006), was followed by the remix album D.I. By D.D. Although praised for their music, the collective also became known for maintaining a deliberately enigmatic public image.
