Lemon Joy, a Lithuanian synthpop band, was formed in Vilnius in 1994. The original lineup consisted of Igoris Kofas on vocals, Olegas Semionovas on guitar and keyboards, Maksimas Bambras, and Sergėjus Grėjus. Initially known as Этаж-3, the band gained early recognition with their song "City of Berries", which became a number one hit in Lithuania in 1996. The band won the Baddest Groups' Festival and released their debut album Glostyk, earning a Bravo trophy for best first album. In 1998, after Sergėjus Grėjus left, Lemon Joy shifted to electronic music and changed its name to Lemon Joy. Their fifth studio album, 1210 (2006), was well-received in Lithuania, reaching top positions in the charts. The band's seventh album, Stebuklas (2011), featured the Italo-disco single "Kažkada", which topped several Lithuanian radio stations' charts.
