角田 俊也 (Toshiya Tsunoda), born in 1964 in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese sound and installation artist. After earning an MFA in oil painting from Tokyo University of the Arts, he co‑founded the WrK record label in 1994 with Minoru Sato and released his LP, Extract From Field Recording Archive #1, in 1997. He followed with field‑recording albums such as Vibrational Movements of Metal Plates / Limiting Feedback Oscillation (1999), Pieces of Air (2002), and Ridge of Undulation (2005). He collaborated with Lawrence English, Michael Pisaro, and Haco. Later releases, Wovenland (2018) and Landscape and Voice (2022).
