Stewart Goodyear, born in February 1978 in Toronto, Canada, is a pianist and composer. He began playing piano at age three and studied at St. Michael's Choir School before graduating from the Royal Conservatory of Music's Glenn Gould School at 15. Goodyear furthered his education at the Curtis Institute of Music and Juilliard School. Goodyear gained recognition for performing Beethoven's 32 piano sonatas in a single day, an achievement he has repeated at venues including Koerner Hall and McCarter Theatre. He has collaborated with numerous orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic and Chicago Symphony Orchestra. His notable compositions include a homage to Beethoven, Quinteto con piano, Count Up and Panorama.
