Sunshine Blind is an American goth, trip hop, and darkwave band started in 1991 by guitarist CWHK and vocalist Caroline Blind in the New York and New Jersey area. The duo released a self-titled demo cassette Sunshine Blind (1994) before moving to San Francisco, where they were reportedly removed from a gig by Andrew Eldritch of The Sisters of Mercy for looking too goth. In 1995, they signed with Scream Records and issued their debut studio album, Love the Sky to Death. The band performed at the first three Convergence festivals between 1995 and 1997. In 1997, the group followed with the album Liquid, released through Energy Records, and toured extensively across the United States. They released the album I Carry You (2003) before dissolving a few months later. The group reunited in 2024 for live appearances and released new material in 2025.
