The Connection, an American band, was formed in 2011 by Geoff Palmer and Brad Marino. Their debut album, New England's Newest Hit Makers, was released in 2011. The band performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's It's Only Rock and Roll Spring Benefit in early 2014. They have toured Europe twice and gained a following in the power pop genre, playing shows with notable acts such as The Flamin' Groovies and Richie Ramone. Their song "7 Nights to Rock" was named the "Coolest Song in the World" by Steve Van Zandt's SiriusXM radio show Little Steven's Underground Garage on August 12, 2012. The band released several albums, including Labor of Love (2015), Just for Fun (2017), and Wish You Success (2018).
