Noah Haidu, born July 28, 1972, in Charlottesville, Virginia, is an American jazz pianist whose career began with classical piano lessons at age 6 in Urbana, Illinois, inspired by his uncle, pianist Ian Hobson. He moved to New Jersey and Los Angeles during high school, where blues and jazz attracted him; later he studied under Kenny Barron at Rutgers University and was mentored by Bill Charlap. Haidu debuted with Fumi's Mood (1998) and later released Momentum (2012). His solo albums include Infinite Distances (2017), The Heart Intact (2018), Doctone (2019), and Slowly: Song for Keith Jarrett (2021) with Buster Williams and Billy Hart. He resided and recorded in Brooklyn.
