The Field Mice were an English indie pop band from London that was active between 1987 and 1991. The original duo of Robert Wratten and Michael Hiscock released their first single "Emma's House" in November 1988, reaching number 20 on the UK Independent Chart. Their second single "Sensitive" gained significant critical attention and was featured in John Peel's 1989 Festive Fifty. The band expanded to five members by late 1990 and released their final album For Keeps before disbanding in 1991 following a tumultuous tour. Notable tracks include "Triangle" and the seven-minute epic "Missing the Moon". Their entire back catalog was reissued on CD by LTM Recordings in 2005.
